Theatrical display for Touché!

Touché Fencing Club were "treading the boards" at Milton Keynes theatre last week. We had been invited, along with Milton Keynes and Luton Sword fencing clubs to "entertain" customers prior to a lavish production of Gilbert and Sullivan's 'Pirates of Penzance' starring Paul Nicholas!

An interested crowd of onlookers watched as the clash of blades and tinkle of glasses provided an authentic soundtrack to the action. Cunningly the area we used was situated next to the bar, and frequent pauses for rehydration were necessary as the clubs finest fencers fought it out in the spring sunshine.

The Club would like to thank the Management and Staff of Milton Keynes Theatre for their hospitality, and allowing us this occasion to raise awareness about the fantastic opportunities for fencing in the area.

We would also like to thank the fencers who found time to organise and attend this fun event.
