TFC run beginners courses throughout the year. Each course lasts 6 weeks and is designed to take the absolute beginner up to a safe and competent standard that will allow them to integrate into the club. Upon completion of the course the next two weeks are free, for free lessons, or joining in and fencing on the electric piste. A BFA level 1 achievement certificate will be awarded to those who choose to take the assessment.
The course is suitable for both seniors (over 16) and juniors (from about 10 to 16 years).
All equipment is provided during the course and two free club night sessions are included
Four week Minifence courses are available for younger fencers, aged 7-10.

Reduced fees are available for siblings or other
family members wishing to take part in the same course
